Massage Therapist/Holistic Health

With the emergence of health care reform and the surge in the fitness industry, opportunities for the massage therapist have continued to grow. Today, the massage therapist may work in private practice or in any number of environments such as medical and chiropractor doctors' offices, physical therapists' offices and clinics, in hospitals, fitness centers, health clubs, resorts, spas, senior centers, at sporting events, and in corporate and business wellness and stress reduction programs. Therefore, the purpose of this program is to provide the student with the theory, knowledge and the hands-on experience for an entry-level position as a massage therapist in the medical, health or fitness fields or most importantly, in private practice.
